Pycnanthemum muticum

Perhaps the single best pollinator perennial for the mid-Atlantic. Broad flattened flower heads July–September covered in native bees. Fragrant silver foliage. Spreads by rhizome to form weed-suppressing colonies. Excellent for bioretention cells, wet meadows, and stormwater gardens.
