The Land

Our land sits in the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians — a geologically distinct corridor defined by parallel ridges of folded sedimentary rock running northeast through central Pennsylvania. The native plants here carry local genetic adaptations that can't be sourced from out-of-region nurseries.
We collect seed directly from this land and from wild populations within the same ecological region. Every plant we grow carries a documented collection site — because provenance is only meaningful when it's specific.
